Configuring Events
Before you can create an event, you must complete the basic configuration to enable events and set up the event block in the sidebar.
Enable and Configure Events

On the Admin sidebar, go to Stores > Settings > Configuration.

In the left panel, expand Catalog and choose Catalog underneath.

Expand the Catalog Events section. Then, do the following:

Set Enable Catalog Events Functionality to
Yes

Set Enable Catalog Event Widget on Storefront to
Yes

Enter the Number of Events to be Displayed in the Event Slider Sidebar Widget. By default, this value is set to
5
. If you want to display only one event in the slider at a time, enter1

Enter the number of Events to Scroll per Click in Event Slider Sidebar Widget. By default, this value is set to
2
. If you want the slider to display the next event in sequence when clicked, enter1
.

When complete, click Save Config.
