Wishlist v3.5.0

The Wishlist drop-in has been updated with the following changes. Every change in this release is additive and backward compatible.

New features

Multiple named wishlists: New createWishlist(name, visibility) API lets authenticated shoppers create additional named wishlists. The call has no effect for guests (#113). addProductsToWishlist accepts an optional wishlistId to target a specific list instead of the default one (#114).
Multi-list rendering: The Wishlist container accepts a new scope prop so multiple instances can coexist on one page without cross-talk. getWishlistById gains a scope option, and the wishlist name is now exposed (#117).
Guest wishlist persistence: Guest wishlists (for example, Save for Later) can now persist with an opt-in per-list expiration via a guestWishlistTtl config; mergeWishlists gains an optional listKey (#119).
Actions slot and stock status: New optional slots.actions render slot on Wishlist, WishlistItem, and ProductItem lets you replace the main action button (#122). New optional showStockStatus prop on ProductItem shows an In stock/Out of stock label, off by default (#116).

Fixes

Accessibility: ImageCarousel and ProductItem gain tablist/tab roles and slide count in carousel dot aria-labels, 3:1 contrast on inactive dots, a 24px dot target size, product name in Remove/Move-to-Cart aria-labels, and accessible product image links (#115).
Button text: Visible button text no longer shows a literal {productName} placeholder (#118).
Screen reader announcements: Wishlist status alerts (“Removed from wishlist”, “Moved to cart”) are now reliably announced, by keeping the aria-live region mounted (#112).

The Wishlist drop-in has been updated with the following changes:

New features

Pagination: New pageSize option on the initialize config controls how many wishlist items load and display per page, defaulting to 9. Set a custom value to enable page-by-page navigation. Pagination controls render automatically when the total exceeds one page (#85).

Fixes

Wishlist icon state: Fixed the wishlist heart icon showing the wrong state on the PLP and PDP for products on a wishlist page beyond the first. The drop-in now fetches all wishlist pages in the background on initialization so the wishlisted state is correct regardless of pagination (#100).
Accessibility: Made the image carousel dot controls keyboard accessible by replacing <span> elements with <button> elements (#102).
Gift cards: Gift card wishlist items now redirect to the PDP for configuration instead of silently failing on Move to Cart (#103).

Infrastructure

Node.js 22 LTS: The package now builds and distributes using Node.js 22 LTS. The engines.node constraint has been removed as this drop-in targets browser environments exclusively.

The Wishlist drop-in has been updated with the following changes:

Multi-store wishlist - The drop-in now supports multi-store scenarios. Pass an optional storeCode config prop during initialization (the boilerplate reads it from the AEM config system and passes it into the drop-in). When storeCode is set and not 'default', localStorage and sessionStorage keys and wishlist ID cookies are scoped per store (for example, DROPIN__WISHLIST__WISHLIST__DATA__ plus the store code), so guest and authenticated wishlist data stay isolated between store views. Single-store setups and the 'default' store continue using the original unscoped keys for backward compatibility ( #73 ). Includes the boilerplate integration ( #1139 ).

Major version upgrade with SDK and dependency updates. The Wishlist drop-in has been updated to include the following changes:

Elsie SDK upgrade - Updated to Elsie SDK 1.6.0, bringing pagination SEO enhancements, improved price formatting utilities, table component mobile responsiveness improvements, enhanced field component rendering, and icon stroke width fixes ( #64 ).
GraphQL fetch upgrade - Updated to @adobe-commerce/fetch-graphql 1.2.3-beta2 for improved GraphQL query handling and better header management.
Revised Adobe Commerce Drop-in License Agreement - Updated license agreement to current terms. Drop-ins are now exclusively licensed for Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service (ACCS) and Adobe Commerce Optimizer (ACO). Use on on-premise or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) deployments is not permitted under the license agreement ( #66 ).

The Wishlist drop-in has been updated to include the following changes:

No more visual flickering: Wishlist content no longer flickers when opening thanks to consistent minimum height constraints across all responsive breakpoints, ensuring smooth visual transitions ( #57 ).
Bundle products now supported: Wishlists now handle bundle products comprehensively, including proper bundle_options and bundleOptionsUIDs handling for adding, displaying, and managing bundle products with their selected options ( #59 ).
Cleaner getWishlistById API: The getWishlistById function is now simpler with unused currentPage and pageSize parameters removed. The API now only requires the wishlistId parameter, improving code maintainability ( #58 ).

The Wishlist drop-in has been updated to include the following changes:

Fixed accessibility for Wishlist toggle: Added proper aria-label attributes to WishlistToggle button elements in Product Discovery, resolving critical AXE accessibility issues related to discernible button text and accessible names.
Fixed Wishlist alert messaging: Corrected WishlistAlert to display appropriate success or error messages based on the actual operation status when adding or removing items, instead of always showing success messages even when operations failed.
Added image slots to Wishlist: Implemented image slots throughout the Wishlist drop-in to allow customization and replacement of default image rendering, providing extensibility for all images within the component.
Enhanced Wishlist functionality: Released an improved iteration of the Wishlist drop-in with better support for Adobe Commerce Cloud Service (ACCS) and enhanced move-to-cart flows for complex products, addressing feature gaps from the initial June release.
